It was 12 years ago today that I received my bc diagnosis and in two weeks I will be getting a bone marrow transplant for my AML that they have determined is indeed related to my bc chemotherapy. That's ok though it helped me kick bc's butt. Now I just have to kick aml's butt. We plan to use my son's marrow as a half match and umbilical cord blood to complete the process. Due to the severity of the AML we don't have time to wait to search for an unrelated donor which takes 3 to 4 months. So, my bc friends, again I ask you to hold me in your thoughts and prayers as I trudge through this trial. I will come out on top at the end of this journey. I have faith.
hugs to you all
