Hi Trudy,
Welcome to our site...I am so sorry that we had to meet this way. Please know that we are here to extend a helping hand and supportive shoulder along the way. My first thought is to ask if you have the support of family or friends. Yes it would be helpful if your husband could be depended upon to be there for you...and he may yet be. The diagnosis of breast cancer hits not only the patient hard but also those closest to the patient.
You have a lot on your plate right now Trudy and need the support of those willing and able to provide that support. I would suggest talking to those individuals now and getting them on board to help. Lots of decisions will need to be made and we all need a strong support team to help us make those decisions.
The decisions that you make now are tied to your future well being. Hopefully you can discuss it all with your doctors and those closest to you who understand your needs and will support you. Please feel free to post whenever you can and let us know how it is going.
