Girlfriend, tell your husband you love him but you need him now. You can not drink and neither should he till you get through this. I also have a husband that drinks too much but he is there for me when I need him. Do NOT consider not having the surgery. Ask for a block - I found that one out. You take care of you - reach out to family and friends if you need help. Hugs and prayers are on your way girlfriend.
