Hi Patricia! Welcome to the site, these women are great. I was diagnosed with Invasive BC in July. I thought I had only one lump but through many tests they found another cancerous lump deep in my breast. So what started out to be a lumpectomy has turned into Mastectomy. Since my family has a strong history with BC, I'm definitly thinking of a bilateral Mastectomy. I just started talking to my onc today about it but I'm a long way off from reconstruction since I have approx. 6-8 months of chemo before my surgery.
I apologize that I can't help you with information since I'm pretty much just starting out myself. However I was reading the posts and these women seem to have given you everything you need. They're pretty smart gals!
