My husband, David Carroll Koons, is the son of Carroll Lee Koons, who is the son of James Carroll Koons, who is the son of Franklin Carroll Koons who was the son of Samuel Carroll Koons. They all lived in Randolph Co., Ar. but Franklin Carroll and his wife Maria Celeste Aubuchon moved to Ar. from St Genevieve, Mo. not far from St Louis, which was originally a French trading post on the Ms. River. Franklin's parents were from Iowa.
