Am searching for information on any of the above. They are my ggg/grandparents and gg/grandmother. Lenory (am not certain of exact spelling of her given name), was born in Martindale, NY in 1871. She married Elmer Nelson (Nilsson) in Taghkanic on July 4, 1890. Their union produced three daughters, including my grandmother, Roberta. She is shown in Columbia County census in 1880 with parents and siblings, In the 1900 census with Elmer and children and then disappears. It is my understanding that she and her baby died in childbirth shortly after 1900. I would like any information I can receive on her. Also was told by my mother that we are of American Native ancestry. My grandmother, has the very high cheek bones, dark hair and other features of a Native American. I would like to know how I could research this to find out if we do have Native American in our lineage. If we do I am certain it is through the Coons/Kuhns lineage. Thank you for any information or direction anyone can give me in my quest. BEV-MI
