Hello Amy ~ I believe we are related - at least by marriage. My grandparents were Leopold Matejzel and Cecelia Turzak. Cecelia's sister was Victoria Slivensky who lived in Crystal Falls, MI. My grandparents lived in Ironwood, MI a few miles to the west of Crystal Falls. Many years ago I visited with "Hilma" Slivensky, one of Victoria's daughters living in Crystal Falls. I also met a very old woman, who did not speak much english, but I cannot remember her name. She was related somehow. My cousin, Gordon Dickson, has done extensive research on both the Matejzel and Slivensky families. He can be reached at GLDAGWA@aol.com if you are interested.
