All SurfJets run 50:1 premix 2 cycle oil....this is the factory recommended ration.....I personnally prefer the performance at 55:1....use a RatioRite or other measurement device to get your ratio spot on...
As to oil type, it uses very little, so use the best 2 cylce you can afford...
