Found and purchased an 87 Surfjet recently.
Rough shape, looks like it has not been on the water for years. Impeller looks good, compression is good and engine fired after 2 pulls and a couple squirts of premix into the carb. Fuel system will need to be cleaned. I'm looking for service recommendations regarding the jet drive and cooling system. Should I plan on pulling the engine and cleaning the jet drive? Any issues (other than fuel system) to be aware for surfjets having sat unused for long periods?
Anyone have a shop manual or know where i find one?
