Surf Jet repair/diagrams

I am a small engine mechanic, and have never had any experiance with surf jet, was wondering if anyone had repair diagrams and fuel line routs, I really need this for my customer. If so please email me @ harleytherock@hotmail.com I also know little about this thing, I think the reason why I can't get it to draw fuel is the pick up filter in the tank is missing, I beleave that this has a check valve in it and is my lack of vacuume. if I'm rite please let me know
