Hi I'm new to this but have played with surf jet boards for several years, not as boards but as eng. jet combos for small water jet boats, i would buy a board and strip out the parts and drives.
I'm now moving from sunny FLA. to not so sunny WA. in the next few months so I need to get rid of my extra supplys, i have three surf jet motors and jets, one is compleat with jet inter cover prop, carb, pull starter, plugs, ect. and is from a 1984 board, I even have a clear title from the board, this motor is has 4hrs on it!! I got it from a navy off. that was being transferd over seas and he had rebilt the eng, theres a long story conected with it but to make long story short the board was damaged the first time he took it out to run it (fell out of his truck on the turnpike) allmost broke it in half, thats when i come into it bought it from him at his moving sale. the other motors and jets are good just not as compleat as this one, you can call for details at 407-399-4356 or email me. I also have the cowling from a 84. I plan on putting these on ebay in the next week so call me quick!
