The "Wanting Danielle" piece in Smoke Signals vol. Sept-Oct 2011, was especially enchanting. I felt priviliged to share your expeiences and feelings in such a fascination time in your life. You pointed out some unexpected ironies, the most surprising of which was; it was getting much easier to let everyone know that you were lesbian and nearly impossible to make known your enjoyment of cigarette smoking and the fetish you sensed that you had.
Haven't we all had that reluctance to share our SF feelings with others? That somehow, they would wonder "what manner of beast we might be?"
