I do agree with V that the quality has went downhill - especially since the launch of FSC.
I've gotten used to the taste. It is NOT as good as it used to be, but the original taste is still there, and I still like it. I wish that it were the way it always was but sometimes in life you have to take the bad with the good.
I would like to share something that I stumbled upon that improved things quite a bit for me. I had read during my FSC reading on the web about how some had tried cigarette holders. So, I ordered one from this place called "The Lady Smokes". I got a 4.5 inch Slim holder (made for Slims, Misty, More, Eve, etc).
I have since found that using the holder has helped a lot with the constant relighting I was having to do. I am not quite sure why, something about it being easier to draw - after you take a drag the smoke keeps coming through the holder for a long time.
It also improved the taste quite a bit. I think because the smoke is cooler after traveling that 4.5 inches? I don't know why else it would be. There really was a big difference for me with the holder as opposed to without.
And it is certainly a conversation starter - put a Slims 120 in and light up and you have a foot-long object in your hand to play with!
I am not totally opposed to the idea of MYO, but for now I am going to stick with my Slims.
You know, you could consider me your "Virginia Slims Guinea Pig" and I will let you know if I suffer any adverse effects
