Ooops, I should've clarified in the first place that I smoke more than just cloves. Truth is I only smoke those occasionally, and I had been going through a phase of getting bored with regular and menthol cigs. It's just I have a very bad habit of forgetting small but important details, when explaining the bigger picture of anything I talk about. But you are right it'll be a lot more challenging to switch to RYO options, due to the fact I like to switch up smoking regular cigarettes with cloves and menthols on occasion.
Now to clarify everything up, I do smoke regular cigarettes and menthols on occasion(regulars more often than menthols and cloves), but other than the issue of finding RYO options that at least comes close to menthols and cloves, I'm not worried if I end up having to go with regular RYO cigs for a great while. And I agree with you that the subtleties of traditional tobacco will more than keep me occupied for a great while, while I figure out what to do on the cloves and menthols aspect.
I'm probably gonna wind down smoking traditional cigarettes, start traveling the long bumpy road of looking at both online and offline sources on RYO topics, and cross my fingers I find a RYO solution that works for myself. It'll probably also take finding friends of friends(which is, finding out people I don't know through friends I already know who smoke RYO cigs, this problem is compounded by the fact very few friends of mine smoke, and I might just try some sites like Meetup to find similar-minded people) to help me successfully transition to being a RYO smoker. Thanks again for all your responses to my questions on how to begin educating myself on RYO cigarette topics!
