Well said, Fried. I still feel this cold front relating to smoking and cigarette issues has even hit an aspect I always enjoyed growing up, the cigarette ads you once saw beyond magazines pre-1998. (and which largely disappeared beyond limited numbers of magazines and convenience stores, after the majority of major tobacco companies signed the MSA agreement in '98)
It really sucks that tobacco companies(NO THANKS to Phillip Morris/Altria for backing the 2009 FDA tobacco regulation bill that Obama signed, and decided after that to NO LONGER buy any PM brands) have caved so much on smoking issues, and are in this position where they've lost so much backbone, they have so little power to fight back against the loony/rabid minority of politicians that are vehemently anti-smoking. I'm loving all the posts I've been seeing in this thread, as well.
Finally, I have no clue if this reduces the EVA in FSCs(I all but 99.9% doubt it does), but if you must smoke any FSCs, you may as well try this Youtube trick that I saw someone on a different smoking board I post at mention. Right now, I still am seriously contemplating switching to RYO tobacco, but my only hangups to switching to this is that I want to know if anyone has a recipe(so to speak) that they use to make RYO menthols or RYO cloves. I'll probably cross this bridge one day, but am not quite as ready as Vesperae to do it yet.
