Thanx for letting us know where you are with your life-issues. I share everyone's concern for you, and in the absense of any info, I began to fear for your well-being.
I'm saddened to hear deteriorating health is affecting someone(s) dear to you, and wish for a positive outcome in these matters.
The current trends in smoking that have affected you have reached almost all of us, and we are each making the adjustments that are appropriate to our personalities, circumstances and resources. Compromise and invention are keynotes of today's defiant smoker. Persistence is right up there, too.
Clearly we are all in an historic Cold-Front passing our personal space, which will come, do its damage and then move on. Its hard to tell how long and how much change that will bring, or even if the long-term changes will be for the good or not.
But, be that as it may, you are part of a family of folk united in our concern for each other and our shared interests. We can offer each other mutual assistance and help in threading our way through these really daunting times and make the struggle a little easier.
None of US are alone.
