Restricted behaviour

I had the occasion to witness something rather intriguing a few nights ago. Someone I know is allowed two cigarettes each year. The details as to why might be best suited in another forum. It truly was a study in sublime desire. To witness her first inhale and subsequent exhale was akin to a child's expression on Christmas morning, the first sip of an exquisite wine and the response to a long sought passionate kiss between lovers. I wonder if I would respond in a similiar manner. I also wonder how I would respond to such restriction of my behaviour. I smoke because I enjoy it. I take pleasure in doing so. Just the same, I find this scenario intriguing to ponder. I'm curious how others might respond to or view being subject to such restriction.
