So, what about before you had female contemporaries who smoked? What impressions of smoking prior to this - of adults, advertising, anti-smoking messages, etc. - got you so interested in, or at least very attuned to, smoking?

I love your enthusiasm, and I'm so glad that you decided to open up and introduce yourself!
