I'll add my voice to the chorus of praise. How many times have I uttered those words, my stethoscope pressed to a patient's back, and listened to her lungs' irregular expansion so common in smokers? "Now let it out slowly." Again, I listen and hear the mucus shift and the poor breath control. "Are you a smoker?" So often the patient will say "No" or "Only socially" But I know better. "Now cough for me, please."
