Ah yes, "addiction." 
This image is all about revisiting a topic that I've been interested in for a long time, and that we've discussed here on and off - specifically, just what all is actually involved when we talk about "addiction" to smoking.

This image is also very personal to me, and to my experience with smoking, since I started shortly before this song, and the video on which this image is based, began flooding US airwaves and cable in the mid 1980s.
It's obviously a playful song, but there is also something about it that evokes a sense of S&M, and of giving yourself over and resigning yourself to something Dark...all of which fit just a little too perfectly with my experience as a new smoker as the months went by and I realized just how goooood it felt to scratch the itch, and to sacrifice just a little bit more of my vitality in doing so, every time I lit up another Virginia Slims...
