Your wife sounds like just about the Ideal non-smoking candidate to come out to, in terms of not only being likely to easily accept your Little Secret, but to also very possibly indulge you in just the sort of smoke-laden sex play that you crave. If she's at all creative, she can probably abstract well, and is also probably drawn to new and and novel ways of looking at the world around her.
Unless, of course...you want to keep her your nice *Pink Lunged Virgin*???
