So, if you were to start dating a woman who smokes and found that she saw smoking as a turn on or at least as a desirable trait in a partner, how would you handle it, having, presumably, presented yourself as a smoker? I personally think that most smokers see smoking as a desirable characteristic in a partner or potential partner because it helps assure us that the other person won't have a problem with our smoking.
To answer your question about previous activities: For brief periods in my 20's, I experimented with a wide range of drugs. My use never became habitual, and I can honestly say that it was only to satisfy my curiosity. I have never found habitual use of other drugs or repeated excessive use of alcohol attractive.
