Well...cartoons don't have lungs, so they can't actually smoke. (I'm being all *Conceptual* and shit here...LOL...)
Sunny is like Barbie, or like any other hyper-idealized fantasy female character, in that she obviously isn't real, but something within us wants her to be real, because girls want to believe that they can somehow be her, or those who are attracted to women can somehow be with a "perfect" woman like her.
The irony that I meant to suggest by the text is that if Sunny were somehow sentient, that she'd actually probably envy us, because she isn't a real person at all, and we are.
I'm also playing with the idea of the sneaky and dark implications of a cartoon promoting smoking; for a cartoon, there are obviously no *Risks*, whereas for us...
