hello vesperae and all,
i've been reading the board here since pretty much the beginning, was also a big fan of the smoking fetish ethics board. personally speaking i've always been a big fan of what vesperae has done here and elsewhere regarding the multiple facets of smoking and the smoking fetish.
this board in particular resonates pretty close to me in that my personal fetish not only revolves around the glamor elements of smoking, but the dark elements as well.
my own choices in cigarette brands reflect that as well. a great bit of the time i smoke newport 100's, which most know as a very strong cigarette, something i take pleasure in knowing.
on the other hand, my other brand, my more "glamor fetish" brand are misty 120's menthols (they were max 120's at one point, just too difficult to find now, and before they made all the changes i used to really enjoy virginia slims, but many share my opinion that they have taken a sharp downturn).
interestingly enough, i didn't used to care for mistys much, but since they recently underwent their "makeover" i find them to be more visually appealing, as i find them to taste slightly better, if anything. you know, pretty much the polar opposite of what happen to VS.
but i digress...
what brought me here to give one of my rare posts (hoping to have more time to post more often in the future) is something i read over on the all white 120's board.
i remember a woman posted mentioning that she liked to occasionally, in the comfort of her own home, cut off the filters of her mistys and use a straw as a sort of holder to smoke them, thus enjoy a much stronger cigarette.
that idea kinda got my mind churning for a couple of reasons. first, i though "hey, that's not a bad idea" from a just wanting to enjoy a stronger cigarette point of view, but more than that it kinda got another idea going through my head.
see, i'm one of the people, like others here i'm sure, that are fascinated by the idea and action of inhaling thick tar filled cigarette smoke.
one of the things i've always wished i could do, and again, probably a thought shared by others, is i wish i could see the freshly inhaled smoke pouring out of the tip of the filter and traveling down my throat and into my lungs.
logistically, though, that just really isn't possible, unfortunately. but the straw idea got me thinking.
well, i went out and acquired a number of plain old clear straws. turns out that my misty 120's fit just about perfectly into the end. almost a completely perfect fit.
i cut a couple of the clear straws down to a manageable length and basically discovered the ability to see the smoke before it enters your lungs.
so, i put a misty into one of my "holders" and lit up. i was pretty much immediately on cloud nine.
it was fascinating to see the thick smoke pouring out of the filter, travel down the straw and into my lungs. naturally the smoke is much thicker and darker than what you see as exhaled smoke. this is not even to mention the very noticeable yellowish brown tint to the smoke that is all of the tar yet to be absorbed by my addicted and hungrily waiting lungs.
from a "dark fetish" point of view it's pure bliss to see that, incredibly pleasurable. for anyone that shares the same fascinations and feelings about smoke i would highly recommend it.
now, it's not the same as the original "fantasy", but it's a pretty alright second place.
and all of this is not even to mention after smoking even roughly half a pack of mistys in this manner the otherwise clear straw begins to become noticeably yellowed with tar, yet another thing that i've taken pleasure in.
the whole experience has really opened up my mind to thoughts, feelings, ideas, and pleasures about all the dirty, yet sublime desires of smoking. i couldn't be more pleased and look forward to continuing the practice for quite some time.
again, i highly recommend trying it, or something of the similar ilk if it's your cup of tea.
i'd love to hear feedback and thoughts from some of the panel here, particularly the great vesperae. years and years back i remember we exchanged a few emails (i'm sure you've forgotten, thought, lol. if it jogs your memory at all i am the creator/moderator of the fairly popular "beautiful girls smoking 120's", "virginia slims smokers", and "misty slims smokers" yahoo groups). i've always enjoyed and respected your passion for smoking and smoking fetish elements as well as your presence in the community.
