I have read the discussions below and would like to chime in with my thoughts. As one who has participated in this forum since day one, I value the thoughtful participation of others. I also appreciate the focused nature of this board. Here, M G F and I and others have a place where we can explore our relationship with smoking, with the multi-faceted aspects of it, with the complex ways and reasons something so "bad" can feel so "good" etc. I also believe that there is a place in this forum for non-smokers who understand the difference between exploring the sublime desire and the basic dark side smoking fetish, and I applaud Vesperae for making them welcome. It can be easy to drift off topic in any forum, particularly one with a very specific focus, all of us have done it at some point, and from time to time it is necessary for the moderator to step in. I hope that everyone will take the discussion in this tread as constructive, and will work to understand and build this forum.
