I finally got around to reading Anne's Choice and found it to be a very engaging and well-paced story, with completely believable and well-drawn characters. My only "criticism" is that I would have liked to see more foreshadowing of the idea, which only emerges in the epilogue, that Martin was actually attracted to Anne's smoking. Similarly, Anne's contention that she got addicted to smoking because she enjoyed it, rather than smoking because she was addicted, cries out for further exploration. In the sequel, Richard?
