Hi Bob,
Well, you could completely eliminate the guilt and the wishing and hoping if you just told her.
She doesn't have to become a regular, full-time smoker, she doesn't have to smoke in front of the kids, and since you suspect that she alreadys knows, she probably does, even if she doesn't realize the extent of your attraction.
