Posted by John on July 21, 2007, 4:08 pm My parents were life long smokers and it was something I always hated. I particularly did not like the smell and found the butts and ashes disgusting. Nothing about their smoking or their death was pleasurable in anyway. But I now wonder if some part of my attraction us related to this. I don't believe so but their smoking has certainly played a big role in my life and thus shouldn't immediately be ruled out. Any thoughts or insights about this?
I have been exploring this site and reading the post while trying to understand conflicting feelings about my negative feelings towards smoking and being attracted to smoking women. I have been a little surprised to see that part of other peoples attraction to smoking us related to death. While I was initially certain it played no role in my attraction it has become something I think I need to explore. The main reason I think this is because both of my parents smoked and died from smoking related diseases, lung cancer and COPD related problems.
