Insouciance? Better to Behold?

I have often observed that insouciance inspires reactions within me that are somehow both the antithesis of insouciance, and yet somehow also a fine variation of the essence of it's inherent pleasures.
It can make me all fluttery and sh!t inside.
And yet you make the case for insouciance coinciding with "dark, mysterious, and altogether pissed-off", unless I have failed miserably in my attempts to correctly interpret your missives...yes, yes?!
