Posted by vesperae My previous remarks about Pete's "debate" comment had more to do with my impression that he and I are seeing the same things in only slightly different ways, but I didn't mean to suggest that debate wasn't allowed here. It just has to be respectful and friendly. And I have nothing but respectful and friendly feelings for Pete, and I believe that he feels similarly about me. I've especially appreciated your remarks about the significance of just how personal and private so much of a smoker's relationship with her smoking is. I think that it is this very sensual and psychological intimacy that allows us to experience that which is "Sublime" about smoking, specifically because it is so very private. Cheers, * * * * *v
