Posted by vesperae I really enjoy your thoughtful replies! I understand totally what you mean about "relating to the experience" of other smokers. And my attractions to smoking have to do with the "complex and psychologically dark romance" that I have with my own smoking, combined with the intimate awareness of smoking and rite of passage that I share in common with other smokers. Since I am a lesbian, the social focus of my attraction to smoking is on other women, and smoking with a woman who I am attracted to is actually as physically arousing to me as having her put her hands and lips on me. I'm sure that you understood about my moving your reply; but I also want you to please feel free to start your own threads here whenever you want!
