After seeing that Jeff Mullins and crew were taking the VW From Hell to Mason Dixon today I thought I might ride up and check it out.
This is one bad little motor scooter! The quality and attention to detail in this car is Top Notch.
It has that distinct VW sound until the RPM's come up and turbo starts to whistle.
It hooks! I saw two shakedown runs.
The Super Stockers are there for the weekend with plenty of wheels up launches. I overheard Danny Henderson in the staging lanes telling a fellow racer he had his best 60 ft time of the year today and cant seem to keep the front end down.
This kickass low 9 second Ranchero ran in the Gamblers race.
A .997 60 ft, low 7 second pass and a whole lotta noise!!!!!!!!!
This Mustang made alot of noise too, he shut it down just after the launch.
