I agree with Todd.
When the heads up movement started, it was for street type cars with big hp......thats what people wanted to see.....and thats what people got. The challenge was to get the car down the track while keeping it between the lines. Allowing tubbed car in a small tire world would go aginist the grain.
Maybe a solution would be to have two index classes, sounds like there might be enough cars to have both...."Big Tire Index" and "Small Tire Index".
I beleive 75/80 is trying to do what is best for them also......any smart business would. Constructive words from us racers will help them make the correct decision.
