Hey Hal...good to hear from you. I had a '64 and a '66 long time ago. I try not to second guess acquisitions and departures. I know I would enjoy them today. They both were great amps and in top shape. You can do a lot of things with a DR as you know. If you are able to sometime...throw a video clip our way. It had a Radio Shack : speaker in it and incorrect grille cloth. I : got an e series JBL put in it( a popular : upgrade back then) and some period correct : grill cloth. Other than that it's pretty : much original. I have had the odd work done : on it over the years, but nothing like this : recent service. : : So guess what--it sounds great. My tech says : it's the best sounding Deluxe he has ever : worked on. I have started using it at all my : gigs. I sold my Maz 18 and I took back the : Goodsell I was trying out. I play in a cover : band and at two churches. This amp covers : all my needs. When I change guitars I can : really hear the differences. And it loves : all my pedals. : : After 35 years of playing, I am back to my : first amp. I have a 68 AC30(too much amp for : most of my gigs) and my 68 Princeton. I : can't imagine needing anything else. :
