In my opinion, the owner has to spend what is required to properly promote the product. If after a couple of years the owner hasn't seen any returns on the investment he has made in promoting the club, then he has no choice but to conclude that he does not have enough demand for his product and is in a business that has no potential for success. If you spend the money and it doesn't work, at least you gave it an honest shot. If you want to sit around and moan about the costs attached to trying to attract new customers, your business will never grow and always underachieve.

I think you misinterpreted me in the sense that I wasn't stating that the club should find time for more training sessions. This is a semi-pro league and there is no way that players who hold down other jobs should be expected to train everyday. To my knowledge, none of the teams in the FBNL train more than twice a week (although I heard a rumour that Guildford train everyday) so we are not behind other teams in this area.
