I disagree with the name Jesters being good, I thought it was shite. It might be all right to have a team name associated with clowns in Finland, but in the UK its a bad joke. The name Riverkings was the best because it reflected the northeast region, and it was just plain ignorance on Jokerits part to change it. Its one thing to look for brand identity, but its not as if people from Newcastle would be making a trip to Helsinki to watch the big club play. The fact that the supporters in this region had to put up with a couple of name changes in a narrow space of time before that made the decision to change the name from Riverkings even dumber.
