Hi Jan,
I don't lunge my yearlings, if I do it is only enough that they have the idea, they are suppose to go in a cirlce. Maybe put them in a round pen just to give them the idea of moving off in a circle. I don't even do very much as 2 yr olds. These horses will grow until they are 5 or 6 so I really go slow with them when they are young.
