The detail you can see in the originals are incredible. The originals are 12”x12” and I had them scanned at 2400 dpi. Each photo is over 54 Mbs. Most of the areas shown are smaller than a nickel in the original prints. Yes, there must be 50 Soviet vehicles in the one photo near the supply depot. I am not sure what you mean about rotating the picture. Remember when looking at the "foxholes", you are looking at two different things First the hole its self and secondly the material removed from the hole and how it is pile up around it. The black splotches are just dirt or material on the lens or original negative. I can see finger prints in some of the photos. Mamayev Kurgan is terraced on the north, south and east sides. No aerial photos of engine-less Soviet tanks I know of, Ha!
