Thanks Russ, I did read that book and is part of my collection. I'll go back and look for those answers. It makes sense now being an armchair general that cutting off the supplies and eliminating those artillery batteries and Soviet supply depots should have taken on greater significance. The Luftwaffe pound the city constantly, but didn't seem to make a greater effort in destroying the hand that feed the 62 Army. BTW, what happen to your wargame? Are you still designing it as a computer strategy game? All the best, Ted
