Chris Barron is the Spin Doctors main ingredient. Without him singing you cant even use the name Spin Doctors. I loved Happily Ever After, Margarita and My Problem Now. I prefer these type of songs over the Yo mama's a pajama type stuff. Melody Matters.
: Sorry I missed you, Sinko - hung out in back
: closer to the soundboard all show. I did
: bring the rig and taped it, but stupidly
: forgot my windscreens at home, so I'm sure
: it'll sound like complete shit.
: The other new tune they played was Margarita,
: I think. I kind of agree about the new stuff
: - there's no funk or jam, just kinda fluffy
: pop stuff. That's fine if the lyrics are
: clever - your typical Chris stuff - but they
: were a bit flat. Genuine really rocked,
: though, and one or two of the new tunes did
: have my toes tapping. Lady Kerosene was a
: nice surprise, as was Nice Talking To Me. And
: I'm never one to turn down a Big Fat Funky
: Booty. Overall a tightly scripted show but I
: have a feeling that since it was a free
: outdoor radio show, they didn't take the
: liberties that they might on a headlining
: tour - the band only played a little over 90
: minutes, which didn't offer much time to
: stretch out.
: Speaking of Nice Talking To Me, nice talking
: to Sean K, who found me after the show! Too
: bad we didn't get to meet up beforehand. If
: the show sounds at all listenable, I'll
: circulate it (hell, I'll probably circulate
: it anyway, with the huge caveat that it
: sounds like it was taped in a wind tunnel).
: Sorry, everyone.
