Well, for my taste, I would have to say it would be a GREAT thing for the band. Eric's guitar work is the main reason I'm into the band (although Mark's bass playing is a close second). However, the band tried doing the darker, harder rocking stuff after PFOK and it didn't really catch on. So for the band's popularity, Chris' stuff might be more of a draw...
