In addition, Alexander's first wife, from Jamestown Virginia, was a Sarah Cary, who I believe is the daughter of Archibald Cary, who had business dealings with Alexander Cary (see http://ead.lib.virginia.edu/vivaead/published/lva/vi00069.document )They supposedly had no children, but perhaps if one of Alexander's sons had a child, he would have named his son Archibald after a business associate and friend?
