It is hard to find good High School Apps. I don't work very much with High School. I have more EC, Primary and Middle. But hopefully some of these will help.
Any of the iBuilders (i.e., Sentence Builder, Rainbow Sentences, Conversation Builder, etc.)
For Artic Kids, Speech Tutor or Speech Trainer may be helpful. They will show visual representations for articulator placement for sound production.

Functional Skills Series has a series of apps such as:
Functional Life Skills
Social HD
Communication Skills HD etc.
AC slideshow - make your own slideshows for students
Toontastic - create cartoons for story telling. through 12 years or students at that level.
iThoughts HD - graphic organizer
Tools4Students - another graphic organizer
Chicktionary - try to come up with words from a given set of letters, kind of like Scrabble but with eggs and chickens.
Search 60 ( look and find game even I like)
Rush hour or Blocked Car
Lingraphica has a series of apps.
Grammar Express also has a series of apps for different parts of speech.
