Hi all,
I have a car seat available for anyone who is struggling to find one rated down to 4 lbs. One of our twins was under 5 lbs when she came home from the hospital, but we had already purchased car seats which were rated 5+ lbs (the 4+ lbs seats didn't seem to work with any double strollers). We were worried that we would have to purchase a third seat, but a nurse in the hospital was nice enough to hand down her Britax Companion car seat (rated 4-22lbs) to another family who was in the same position as us, and they handed it down to us when they were finished with it. So I would like to offer it to anyone who is in the same boat. I don't know the history of the seat, but I'm assuming it hasn't been in any accidents. It was manufactured in 9/06. I'm not asking anything for it, but I strongly prefer that it go to someone who has a small baby and needs a way to get the sweet little thing home. Spread the word if you know anyone.
