Our twins are almost a year old, and our toddler almost four. The twins are standing, walking with help, getting into everything -- and it seems like it's gotten so much harder again as we race to keep them safe from choking hazards, etc (we often put them in a safe part of the house or close a door to a room that's toddler-friendly but not babyproof, and they cry because they want to be with us and we feel awful about it).
We're exhausted. I feel like all I do is keep up and hardly see my kids and spend time with them, although I do. It's just that I'm so tired it doesn't feel like it's quality. I often think how much easier it'd be with just one, but we've been blessed with twins and I wouldn't trade them for the world. Just ... when does it get easier?
Also, do any of you have recommendations for books that help siblings deal with twins? Our toddler's been great, but now that the twins are getting into more we're finding that a new set of challenges has cropped up.
