I use gocitykids.com - it has an activity finder, which narrows down your search. You can specify type of day: indoor/outdoor, or the kind of fun you’re looking for: educational, party, explore the city - and by age. You can put in zipcodes of areas you wish to visit in any state and they have a color coded calendar that also provides links to the location and some parental reviews. I really is a great resource.
