Congrats! My twins pregnancy was a total shock too! I feel your pain! My twins are now four months old! Some days I think this really isn't that bad, and other days I think I will surely die. You just take it a day at a time and love every minute of it. I must say I am glad I am on this side of it and not that side. I think being pregnant with twins was worse than having them home. So for some advice...just don't plan on keeping up with what you are doing now. I found that because I didn't expect to leave the house it really didn't bother me that I wasn't getting out. Don't expect too much of yourself and things won't be so stressful. Allow your husband to bring home food or if he is willing...cook for you. We ate take out for the first two months. Take fish oil suppliments everyday!! The neonatal nurses recommended this to me for nursing twins because it helps with their brain and eye development, but it also helps reduce stress levels and it really helps with postpartum depression. I didn't experience any post pregnancy depression like I did with my previous two pregnancies...It was a big help! Best of luck to you!
