When I did the research a few years ago, the very best are the Britax but they are very expensive. The next best was the Even-flow, Triumph. My boys are age 4 and still in this car seat. I have a Subaru also and although these car seats are a little bigger than some of the other ones, these were the safest next to the Britax.
