My son was like that he would not sleep threw the night and would cry for hours on end (which is amazing someone can cry that long) but my daughter would. Some kids just need more attention in the night. Our peditrican told us that we go in and say to the baby it is night time and kiss them and lay them down not giving them bottle (he says they learn that when they cry you will give them bottle or pick them up) and continue to do that I did it for 2 weeks and then he started sleeping threw the night and we just started with him waking again during the night (he is 2 years old now) We have done that again for about a week and lastnight he slept threw the night again.. It sounds crazy but it worked for us it may work for you.. Good luck
