My girls both had tubes put in when they were 18 months. The recovery time at that age is so fast! That day they were tired, but with motrin they were fine! Also, it is okay , according to our ent, for water to get in their ears!!!! Don't stress, the tubes are different now than they were! Talk to your ent, butI'm sure it's fine. They just give you ciprodex drops to ease any discomfort!
